The Rotary Community Garden is a welcoming space where people can learn, grow, and connect through gardening. It features raised garden beds, two greenhouses, and an urban farm that helps supply fresh produce to the Food Centre. There are also opportunities to support the garden through sponsorship, helping sustain this shared space while engaging with the community.

The Medavie Community Kitchen, made possible by a $150,000 grant from Medavie, is the
Peter McKee Centre’s first teaching kitchen focused on nutritious cooking, food safety, and
food preservation. While programs primarily support low-income individuals and families, the
kitchen is open to anyone interested in learning healthy cooking and making informed food
choices. Volunteers are also welcome to help deliver cooking, nutrition, and life skills
programs.
